Description
The Chemistry Department program at the Colleges of Education grants a Bachelor of Science and Education degree (Chemistry major). In addition to the specialized chemistry courses, students also study some biology courses, enabling them to teach science at the primary education level and biology at the secondary education level. The program includes a set of educational courses that prepare students to become educators, as well as supportive courses that help them grasp the specialized chemistry curriculum. The program also qualifies students to pursue graduate studies in chemistry and educational sciences.
