Program objectives
1- Preparing students and qualifying them as researchers in geography in all its branches.
2 - Motivating students to be interested in geographical studies, and proving their role in contributing to writing geography.
3- Rereading geography according to a new and renewed vision that aims to benefit from many other sciences related to geography.
4 - Training students on how to scientific research, self-reliance, innovation, and deducing facts through geographical documents and manuscripts.
5 - Preparing young cadres to assume educational, leadership and service positions in the field of education and other fields that will bring great benefit to the nation.

Description
We aspire for the program to have a pioneering role in the field of teaching and scientific research, and to differentiate itself from other geography departments at the local level.
The program also looks forward to opening the Department of Geographic Information Systems, Environment and Urban Planning, and the Master’s and PhD graduate programmes.
